For years my skincare regiment has been to wash with an over-the-counter soft scrub gel and moisturize with coconut oil. Yes, that is all. And to be honest, it works for me! I like knowing what is going into my skin. I mean, after all, it is the biggest organ of the body. So, when Derma E reached out to try their line of skincare products, I was hesitant. But being that I can't leave to get a facial or microdermabrasion because of the quarantine, I felt that I would give this a shot especially since "their slogan is "Proven Clean Beauty". So, I accepted.
When the products arrived, I left the box downstairs in the garage for 42 hours to make sure no COVID-19 was still present. Every day I was looking at this box on the ground as if it was a long lost puppy that I wanted to scoop up and take inside. But, safety first. When the box was no longer in isolation, I took it inside, unpacked it immediately and started reading the back of each product they sent. I was pleasantly surprised. The first sentence on the packaging reads "We are committed to your health, well-being and the natural environment. That's why we make eco-ethical skincare." I was starting to be won over and felt the eagerness of trying it wash over me. Pun intended!
So, what does Ethical Beauty mean? To Derma E, it means cruelty-free, 100% vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, recyclable, and winder energy certified.
DERMA E is dermatologist recommended, proven and effective. I'm three days into my new routine and I'm super happy. I even did a demo for you! Keep in mind, the microdermabrasion isn't part of the daily routine. I'll do that only 2 days a week, as recommended. Any questions? Go here for more info.
